HOW IT WORKS
Three steps from shoebox to CPA-ready
1
Upload statements
Add each bank account, card, and payment app. Drop in one file for the year or month by month — CSV, Excel, or PDF. We detect how each statement signs its amounts instead of guessing.
2
Answer a few questions
Every transaction gets a neutral category. We only ask about what genuinely needs you — is that deposit income, a transfer, or a loan? — grouped by merchant and ranked by dollar impact.
3
Hand it to your CPA
A combined P&L that ties to your accounts to the cent, as an Excel workbook where the totals are live formulas. Your answers carry over to next year.
OUR STANDARD
What “reconciled” means here
No black boxes. These rules hold for every workbook we produce — and when something doesn’t add up, you’ll see it.
- Card charges are counted once — the payment to the card is a settlement, not an expense.
- Loans and transfers between your own accounts are money movement, never income or expense.
- Fees and interest are always real costs; they never get buried in a transfer bucket.
- Each PDF is checked against its own printed totals — anything we can’t read is shown, never dropped.
- The Net ties to the change across your accounts to the cent, or we tell you it doesn’t.
Bring a year of statements. Leave with a workbook.
Add as many bank accounts, cards, and payment apps as you need — they all combine into one Profit & Loss you can download.
Categories stay neutral: whether a line is personal, business, or rental — and how it’s taxed — is your CPA’s call, not ours.
